Representative from SRC to demonstrate reconfigurable system

On Thursday Sept. 29, Dan Poznanovic, the Vice President of Software Engineering at SRC Computers will present and demonstrate the SRC 6 MAPstation reconfigurable system in the Lecture Hall (Room 1030) at the NCSA Building. From 1 to 2:30 p.m. Poznanovic will demonstrate the system, and from 2:30 to 3:30 there will be time for questions and feedback from the local scientific applications community.

After an intensive three-month evaluation of the SRC 6 MAPstation, the Innovative Systems Lab at NCSA will acquire one of these systems in early October. This machine will be available to application scientists who are interested in joining with ISL to explore the potential of reconfigurable computing.
