Version 2.0 of Databridge released

released October 21, 2005

Databridge 2.0, an application that easily organizes data into common file formats for visualization, was recently released by NCSA's Education Division. The program simplifies the process of visualization for teaching and learning.

Databridge supports a wide variety of free/shareware visualization tools to fit different needs. It is being used by and refined via feedback from middle and high school teachers from rural schools in Illinois and North Carolina through the REVITALISE project, which is funded by the National Science Foundation.

Databridge was developed with support from the EOT-PACI program, EPIC, and an NSF small grant for exploratory research.
