National Science and Technology Week

For the 14th year, the National Science Foundation will sponsor National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) from April 26 through May 2. The event is seven days devoted to celebrating the importance of science and technology in everyday life. This year will focus on "Polar Connections," in recognition of the impact of polar regions on everyday life.

Each year, NSTW involves millions of Americans in national and local events, including educational events for young people, parents, teachers and community leaders. The NSTW teaching activities packet, containing learning activities for K-8 students, will be distributed throughout the country.
