Dear Users--
The Software Development Division (SDD) at NCSA has worked on
NCSA
Mosaic for nearly four years, and we've learned a lot in the process.
We've appreciated your feedback, your support, and the tons of email
you've sent.
But now it's time for us to concentrate on other areas of interest. Active development is being completed on all three platforms, and we're wrapping up the final versions that will continue to be available from our anonymous ftp server (ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu).
We are setting up a support area for users to answer questions, and we'll check in periodically to see how it's going. But we won't be providing telephone or email support for Mosaic any longer. We have appreciated the interactions with you as users from all over the world and hope you continue to enjoy the browser.
Thanks a million.

NOTE:
NCSA Mosaic is available from
Spyglass, which
has commercially licensed NCSA Mosaic to such
companies as Microsoft and AOL. NCSA's
charter is to advance the
development of computing and communications technologies, and NCSA's
Software Development
Division, where NCSA Mosaic was created, is now
focusing on collaborative desktop environments.
